OCEAN ICE moves beyond open access in implementing open science practices while following Findability, Accessibility, Interoperability and Reusability (FAIR) principles. It applies to research data collected during the project and to publications. OCEAN ICE deployed open software tools like ERDDAP, GeoServer, and GeoNetwork, which guarantee native adoption and promotion of FAIR principles. Moreover, OCEAN ICE Zenodo community hosts all new datasets and products collected and produced, further elevating the overall open data science policy.
